*Tickets are not available at the regular Kabukiza theater box office.

Shochiku Multilingual Online Ticket serves as a ticket agency, meaning you can only purchase tickets allocated to it.
・Once your purchase is complete, a QR code ticket will be displayed on your screen.
・You will also receive a separate email containing a link to the ticket.
・This will need to be printed out or be displayed on your mobile device at the venue.
・Present the QR code (either on your smartphone or a printed copy) to the attendant for admission.
・Entry is not permitted without a QR code, so please make sure you have it prepared.
・A QR code is required per visitor.
・If you purchase more than one ticket, the representative must present all the QR codes on his/her smartphone to be admitted to the venue.
・If you and your companion will arrive separately, please forward the purchase confirmation email to them.
・Your companion can enter the venue by displaying the QR code on his/her smartphone by clicking the "View Your Ticket" link in the e-mail.

We are pleased to announce a special 90-minute interactive seminar featuring a professional kabuki actor. This exclusive program offers a comprehensive journey throgh the world of kabuki, from an insightful lecture on its history to live demonstrations and hands-on workshops. Participants will not only deepen their knowledge of this traditional art form but also receive direct guidance from a professional actor. We invite you to join this unique experience to complement your kabuki performance at the Kabukiza Theatre.

[Program Highlights]
・Lecture on Kabuki: An overview of the origins, evolution, and unique characteristics of kabuki.
・”Tsukeuchi” Demonstration & Workshop: A live performance by a professional Tsukeuchi (sound effect artist using wooden clappers), followed by a hands-on experience for selected participants.
・”Mie” Workshop: A practical session where participants can learn and perform Mie, the iconic dramatic poses unique to kabuki.
・”Kumadori” Live Makeup: A live demonstration of the traditional kabuki makeup technique, Kumadori, performed right before your eyes.
・Q&A Session: An opportunity to ask questions directly to the performers.

*Important Note: Please note that this is an interactive seminar program and not a traditional kabuki performance.
*Language: The program is conducted in English (MC/Interpretation). All dialogue from the actor and artists will be interpreted into English.
*Duration: The duration of this program is scheduled to be 90 minutes.
*Cast: The program features one professional kabuki actor and one Tsukeuchi artist.
*Seating: All seats are unreserved. Guests will be seated on bench-style seats (accommodating 2–3 persons).
*Please note that due to the limited duration of the program, only a very small number of participants will be selected for the “Tsukeuchi” and “Kumadori” hands-on experiences. We kindly ask for your understanding in advance.
