Shinbashi Enbujo Theatre (at TOKYO) Theatre Information

Cho Kabuki, a fusion of traditional kabuki and cutting-edge ICT technology, will be presented for the first time at the Shinbashi Enbujo Theatre in Tokyo.

The regular program will start with CHO KABUKI NO MIKATA that will introduce audiences to the charms of 'Cho Kabuki'. After this introduction, TSUKISENU HARU KABUKI ODORI will be performed. In the dance, a troupe led by Izumo no Okuni comes to Fushimi Castle at the invitation of Mashiba Yūki Shōshō Hideyasu. The troupe performs its popular 'Kabuki dance', which is followed by Hideyasu's dance for peace throughout the land.
TOWA NO HANA HOMARE NO ISAOSHI is a new 'Cho Kabuki' work bringing together a kabuki play about the defeat of Soga no Iruka during the Isshi Incident, which triggered the Taika Reforms of 645, and one of Hatsune Miku's famous songs, "The Disappearance of Hatsune Miku".

In the limited version (a shorter program), TOWA NO HANA HOMARE NO ISAOSHI will be performed on its own in a shorter program that is reasonably priced. This will be a great opportunity to experience this brand-new and special form of kabuki in a more casual way.
