(Updated)Notification of a staff member infected with coronavirus

Thank you for supporting our theatre productions.

It has been confirmed that a member of staff had a fever and was tested positive for coronavirus after taking the PCR test.

Kataoka Kamezō will be absent from Part 2 of the July program at the Kabukiza Theatre for the time being, as he is suspected to have been in close contact with the staff.
Cast replacements for Kataoka Kamezō's roles have been announced as below.

※As Kataoka Kamezō was tested negative for the PCR test, he will return for the performance from July 16th (Fri).

■July at the Kabukiza Theatre (Tokyo)

From July 11th (Sun) on
Kataoka Kamezō will be ABSENT.

Kataoka Kamezō's return will be announced as soon as it has been decided.

As no other performers or staff members are considered to be at high risk, the Part 1 and the Part 3 of July performances will be held as scheduled.
