Cinema Kabuki will be screened in Bangkok!

 


'Renjishi' and 'Rakuda' will be screened at Bangkok's Icon Cineconic on December 8th (Wed), 11th (Sat) and 12th (Sun) with English and Thai subtitles.

This will be the very first time for Cinema Kabuki to be screened in Thailand, so please enjoy this opportunity to encounter Japanese culture!


'Renjishi' ('The Triple Lion Dance') was filmed by the great Japanese film director, Yamada Yōji. The Father Lion is performed by Nakamura Kanzaburō, who accompanies his real-life sons Kankurō and Shichinosuke as the Lion Cubs.

'Rakuda' is a popular dramatization of a rakugo comic story. When they performed this work, Nakamura Kanzaburō and Bandō Mitsugorō filled Tokyo's Kabukiza Theatre with laughter.
