(Updated)Notification of the absence and cast replacement of Onoe Matsuya for the Part 3 January performances

Due to a close contact with a person infected with coronavirus, Onoe Matsuya will be absent for the January performances at the Kabukiza Theatre.

He was tested negative for the PCR test, however following Shochiku's COVID-19 measures and guidelines, he has made the voluntary decision not to take part in the Part 3 January program for the time being.

Cast replacement for Onoe Matsuya's role has been announced as below.

*Onoe Matsuya will return for the performances from January 22nd (Sat).
