(Updated) Notification of the January (Part 1) performances from January 15th on

Since it has been confirmed that a member of staff has been infected with coronavirus, the performance schedule for 14th was cancelled.

Additionally, it has been confirmed that Nakamura Toranosuke performing 'IWAU HARU GENROKU HANAMI ODORI' in Part 1 was tested positive for coronavirus after taking the PCR test.

Nakamura Senjaku, Nakamura Shichinosuke, Nakamura Hashinosuke, Nakamura Fukunosuke and Nakamura Utanosuke who were in a close contact with Nakamura Toranosuke, were all tested negative for the PCR test, however following Shochiku's COVID-19 measures and guidelines, they have made the voluntary decision not to take part in the Part 1 January program for the time being.

Cast replacements and schedules for Part 1 have been announced as below.


*Nakamura Hashinosuke, Nakamura Fukunosuke and Nakamura Utanosuke will return for the performance from January 20th (Thu).

*Nakamura Senjaku, Nakamura Shichinosuke, Nakamura Toranosuke will return for the performances from January 23rd (Sun).

Performance will be held as scheduled with some changes in the direction. No cast replacements will be made.

*The theatre and backstage have been cleaned and sanitized.
No affection to the audience seat has been confirmed.
