‘The name succession of Ichikawa Danjūrō XIII, Hakuen, and the stage debut of Ichikawa Shinnosuke VIII’ at the Kabukiza Theatre in November and December, 2022

After a postponement of two and a half years due to coronavirus countermeasures, Ichikawa Ebizō XI will succeed to the name Ichikawa Danjūrō XIII, Hakuen, and Ichikawa Ebizō's eldest son Horikoshi Kangen will also make his stage debut, taking the name of Ichikawa Shinnosuke VIII in November and December, 2022, at the Kabukiza Theatre.

The Matinee and the Evening shows will take place following the measures announced by the Japanese government and the Tokyo Metropolitan government.
