After 2 years of postponement due to the coronavirus counter measures, it has been announced that the performances for the name succession of Ichikawa Danjūrō XIII, Hakuen, and Ichikawa Shinnosuke VIII will take place at the Kabukiza Theatre this coming November and December.

Ichikawa Ebizō and Horikoshi Kangen attended a press conference held at the Kabukiza Theatre and the plays to be performed to commemorate their name succession in the November and December programs were announced as below. In addition, it was announced that performances for their name succession will also be held at the Minamiza Theatre in December, 2023, and at the Osaka Shochikuza Theatre in October, 2024 and so on. Please look forward to these productions!
