A new lineup for KABUKI ON DEMAND – “SONEZAKI SHINJŪ” and “SHUNKAN” from March 1st!
On March 1st, 2023, KABUKI ON DEMAND will be adding “SONEZAKI SHINJŪ” and “SHUNKAN”, two popular works by Chikamatsu Monzaemon, often called “the Shakespeare of Japan”, to its lineup.
The official online streaming service exclusively for kabuki launched in November 2022, and is now available in these 9 countries and regions: Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Taiwan, the U.K. and the U.S. Each video provides either English subtitles or secondary audio guides for worldwide fans to experience the allure of kabuki abroad.
